Stolen Property

(Henderson, KY) - The Kentucky State Police receive several calls each year for complaints on stolen property. In several of the cases we cannot trace the property due to the owners not providing the serial number or the model number and name. We encourage everyone with guns and any property with serial numbers to record this information and photograph valuable items. We can only enter weapons into a national identification system with proper documentation from that item. It only takes a few minutes to prepare a list. We need your help deterring theft. Theft cost everyone millions each year. We need your help and support. Write it down, record it and keep it in a safe place.
