Pharmacist in Russell County, KY Arrested

(Columbia, KY) - After a two-year investigation by the Kentucky State Police and Russell Springs Police Department, a Russell County Grand Jury returned indictments against a Russell Springs Pharmacist. Leon Grider, age 69 was indicted on charges of Trafficking in Controlled Substance Second Degree 2 counts, Trafficking In Controlled Substance Within 1,000 Yards Of A School 5 counts, Trafficking in Controlled Substance in the First Degree 1 count and seven counts of Bribing a Witness. Mr. Grider is alleged to have given money and drugs to witnesses in the case to influence them not to cooperate with investigating officers.

Leon Grider was arrested by Det Scott Hammond on 8-25-05 in Russell Springs, KY, and was lodged in the Russell County Jail.
