Criminal Damage to Adair County Courthouse

(Columbia, KY.) - Kentucky State Trooper Martin Wesley responded to assist the Columbia Police Department after receiving a complaint of a vehicle striking the Adair County Courthouse. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 44 year-old, Ronald G. Webb of Columbia standing near his 1997 Ford Pickup, which he had intentionally driven through the back doors of the Courthouse Building. Columbia Police Officer, Gary Roy arrested Webb and charged him with Burglary 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Intoxicating Beverage 2nd Degree, and No Insurance.

During the investigation at the courthouse, the officers learned that Webb had possibly damaged a home and several vehicles elsewhere in Adair County. Tpr. Wesley and Sgt. Ken Hill responded to a residence on Keen Drive, and found three vehicles and a house severely damaged. Tpr. Wesley then charged Webb with Burglary 2nd Degree, and four additional counts of Criminal Mischief 1st Degree.

The investigation is continuing by both the Columbia Police Department and the Kentucky State Police.

Webb was lodged in the Adair County Jail, where he remains at this time.
