Shooting in Loretto, KY, One Hospitalized and the Other Arrested

(Columbia, KY) - An early morning shooting Saturday Morning in Loretto leaves one Marion County resident in stable condition and results in the arrest of another.

At 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning, April 9th, State Police received a call from Lebanon Police Department advising there had been a shooting on Brahm's Lane in Loretto.

19 year old Christopher T. Nalley of Loretto had been shot twice in the back with a small caliber weapon. He was airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital and is in stable condition.

The accused, 23 year old Richard Allen Douglas of Lebanon, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday at the Lebanon Police Department and charged with assault 1st and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Additional charges are pending. Douglas was lodged in the Marion County Jail.

The shooting was drug related and Trooper Moses was assisted in the case by the Lebanon Police Department.
