Robbery Arrest in Russell County, KY

(Columbia, KY) - Troopers and Detectives from the Columbia State Police Post converged on the Jamestown Court Motel, to arrest robbery suspect, Alfredo Ramirez. Mr. Ramirez had been evading capture since he and Edgar Colorado Salamanco allegedly robbed Jorge Allegrie at gunpoint, on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway, in Pulaski County on January 3^rd 2005.

Mr. Ramirez, was charged with one count of robbery 1^st degree and possession of marijuana. He was lodged in the Russell County Jail.

The investigation is continuing by Det. Russell Decker and Trooper Kendra Wilson. There is currently no known connection between Ramirez and the recent string of home invasion robberies in Adair, Casey, and Taylor counties.
