KSP Post 14 Participating in National Buckle Up Campaign

(Ashland, KY) - The Kentucky State Police in Ashland will be participating in the National "Buckle Up" Campaign beginning May 23rd and continuing through June 5th 2005. We will be encouraging motorist to buckle up for safety by conducting Traffic Check Points along with increasing patrol in statistically proven high incident areas. This will be taking place everyday of the campaign through out our Post District. The KSP Ashland Post 14 District covers Boyd, Greenup, Carter and Lawrence Counties. Our efforts will be coordinated with Local Police and Sheriffs Departments. We will be focusing on Seatbelts, Child restraints, DUI's and Traffic Violations in general.
