Shelby County Pursuit Leads to Arrest

(Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort),- On Monday, October 17, 2005 at 5:49 PM, Trooper Frank Flowers observed a silver Honda Civic making an improper turn on KY 151. The driver traveled north on Crab Orchard Road where Trooper Flowers activated emergency equipment and the pursuit began. The eluding vehicle continued north on Crab Orchard Road to eastbound US-60 toward Frankfort. The fleeing vehicle pulled into a private drive and the driver exited his car. The driver then started fleeing on foot. The driver was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.

The driver Ricky Wright has been charges with DUI 2nd, Fleeing/Evading 1st, Reckless Driving, Driving on DUI suspended license 2nd offense, and Wanton Endangerment 1st.
