Update to Inmate Escaped from Blackburn Correction Complex

Update on News Story Below: Escapee Gary W Jewell was located by the Boone County Sheriff's department earlier this date and is now in custody.

(Post 12 Frankfort) - Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort is investigating the escape of a Blackburn Correctional Complex inmate. On Sunday, October 02, 2005, Gary Wayne Jewell escaped. The Kentucky State Police is asking anyone with information of the where abouts of Gary Wayne Jewell to contact the Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state) or your local law enforcement agency.

GARY WAYNE JEWELL, D.O.B. 12-08-78, white male, 210 pounds, 5'6'', brown hair, brown eyes. Tattoo's on left arms, right leg and left hand.
