Nashville, TN Man Arrested After A Year Investigation

(Post 12 Frankfort) During June 2004 a female subject, whose car had broken down by the Intersate, was assualted and robbed after accepting a ride from a male stranger. After a lengthy and thorough investigation, the evidence collected was submitted to the Kentucky State Police Central Forensic Labortory with some evidence being entered into a national DNA database. A hit conformation was received from the evidence submitted to the DNA database and Micheal Sheppard of Nashville TN has been charged with the aforementioned crimes by the Kentucky State Police. Additional charges are pending.
