Two Armed Robberies in Franklin County

(Frankfort, KY.) - A joint effort between Kentucky State Police and Franklin County Sheriff Office lands three individuals in jail after two armed Robberies. The first occurred at Wayne Markets and the second occurred at Sack's Market in Southern Franklin County.

At 9:39 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 12-Frankfort received an alarm call from Wayne Market 2548 Old US-127 South, in Franklin County. Seconds later the alarm call turns into an Armed Robbery call. Post 12 Troopers and Franklin County Sheriff Deputies responded.

At 10:13 PM, Frankfort dispatch received a 911 call of an alarm that was also upgraded to an Armed Robbery at Sack's Market, 11 Demerson Lane and US-127 South in Franklin County. Post 12 Troopers and Franklin County Sheriff Deputies responded.

At 10:22 PM, Trooper Albert LaGrange observes the vehicle involved in the robberies on Hammonds Lane in Anderson County. The vehicle stop lead to the apprehension and arrest of Steven E. Paulley.

Arrested:
Steven E. Paulley, white male, age 19 of Frankfort, KY, charged with two counts of Robbery 1st.
Margaret A. Cotton, white female, age 33 of Lawrenceburg, KY, charged with two counts of Robbery 1st.
Ashauntia R. Blair, black female, age 28 of Frankfort, KY, charged with one count Robbery 1st.

All three lodged in the Franklin County Regional Jail.

An undetermined amount of cash was taken from both Armed Robberies.

The Investigations are on going.
