Arson Investigation in Shelbyville, KY

(Frankfort, KY.) - At 10:56 p.m. on Saturday 05-28-05 a residential structure fire was reported at 804 College St. Shelbyville, KY.

The Shelbyville Fire Department responded to the scene and found that the property involved was an unoccupied one story residence.

Subsequent investigation has determined that the fire was intentionally set inside the home.

Witnesses indicated that four black males were seen entering and leaving the home just prior to the fire.

Anyone with information concerning this fire is asked to call the Kentucky Arson Hotline at 1-800-27-ARSON (1-800-272-7766). The Kentucky Arson Task Force will pay up to $1,000 leading to the arrest and indictment of an arsonist. Callers may remain anonymous.
