Inmate Escapee From Blackburn Has Been Apprehended

Blackburn Correctional Complex inmate Shane Maines has been apprehended. On Sunday, April 24, 2005 at 5:45 AM, the Nicholasville Police Department arrested the escapee on Laurel Lane in Nicholasville, KY. He was lodged in the Jessamine County Detention Center.

(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort is investigating the escape of a Blackburn Correctional Complex inmate. On Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at 9:30 PM, Shane Maines escaped. This escapee is thought to be in the Lexington KY area. The Kentucky State Police is asking anyone with information of the where abouts of Shane Maines to contact the Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state) or your local law enforcement agency.

Shane Maines, D.O.B. 04-07-1967, white male, 185 pounds, 5'8'', brown hair, hazel eyes. Tattoo's on right and left arms and on right hand.
