Arson Investigation in Lawrenceburg, KY

(Frankfort, KY) - On Saturday 01-01-05 Mr. Scott Wieland returned home from an out of state trip and discovered that a fire had occurred inside his residence at 315 Gailane Drive. The fire, which apparently self-extinguished, caused minor damage and went unreported to the fire department. Lawrenceburg Police were notified and also contacted Kentucky State Police Post 12. The subsequent investigation indicates that the fire was intentionally set.

Anyone with information concerning this fire can call the Kentucky Arson Hotline at 1-800-27-ARSON (1-800-272-7766). The Kentucky Arson Task Force will pay up to $1,000 leading to the arrest and indictment of an arsonist. Callers may remain anonymous.
