Update to Murder Investigation in Clay County, KY

(LONDON, KY) - On Wednesday October 12, 2005 Kentucky State Police Detective Mark Allen attended an autopsy at the Kentucky Medical Examiners Office. The body was transferred to the office after being located in a shallow grave in western Clay County on October 5, 2005.

Preliminary reports indicated the body to be that of Ricky White (36) of Manchester, KY. The autopsy revealed that Mr. White had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen area of his body.

On October 5, 2005 Detective Allen arrested 43 year old Steven Ray Sizemore of London, KY and, charged him with murder, in connection with the 1993 missing person investigation.

Detective Allen's case remains open pending further investigation by the Kentucky State Police and, also further investigation by the Medical Examiners Office.
