Update On Shooting Investigation In Laurel County

Date of News Release: 08/20/2005

London, KY - On Saturday 08-20-2005, Kentucky State Police at London was notified by the Fayette County Coroner's Office that Lee Wolfanger age 43,( the subject involved in an officer involved shooting with a Laurel County Sheriff's Deputy on august 15, expired at 2036 hrs. 08-19 at UK Medical Center.) An autopsy has been scheduled for Saturday morning (08-20).

The case was investigated by the Laurel County Major Crimes Task Force with Detective Don Trosper being the lead investigator.
