Strong Armed Robbery in Laurel County

Date of News Release: 08/19/2005

London, KY - On Friday 08-19-2005 at 04:22 a.m. Kentucky State Police at London received a call of a robbery in southern Laurel County on the Robert E. Cox road. Upon arrival the victim, Edmond Johnson (age 52) advised he was outside his apartment when three (3) male subjects overtook him with one (1) female watching. The three males tied him up with a rope. The victim was able to free himself and, call 911.

The victim was able to identify two of the suspects, Michelle Mullins age 32 of London and Shannon Breedlove age 33 of London. The suspects stole the victims 1984 Ford Car. The vehicle was entered stolen in NCIC. At 0720 a.m., the Maryville Police Department in Tennessee stopped the vehicle after it left a gas station without paying for gas.

Both Michelle Mullins and Shannon Breedlove were in the vehicle along with Scotty Hensley age 32 of London and Frankie Hoskins age 20 of Lily. Detective Millard Root is investigating the case assisted by Sgt. Steve Walker and the Laurel County Sheriff's Department.

This case remains open pending further investigation.
