Domestic Violence Complaint Leads To Standoff In Clay County

(LONDON, KY) - On Tuesday, April 12,2005 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Kentucky State Police at London received a call of a domestic violence complaint at a residence on north highway 66 in Onedia, KY.

Upon the units arrival the male subject had a gun to his head threatening to shoot himself. The male subject went back into the residence and, after a short standoff with law-enforcement surrendered to the Kentucky State Police.

The male was identified as Charles L. Hill Jr. (35) of Onedia, KY. Mr. Hill was arrested and, charged with wanton endangerment 1st and, criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Clay County Jail with the investigation continuing by Trooper Nick Metcalf.
