Death Investigation in Clay County

(LONDON, KY) - On Monday, April 11, 2005 at approximately 1:00 p.m. Kentucky State police at London was notified of a tractor accident in Clay County. Trooper Matt Reed responded and, upon his arrival found Clyde Jones Jr. (57) of Gregory Branch Road, Manchester, KY. dead from injuries he sustained from a farm tractor, which had turned over on top of him. Clay County Coroner Jim Trosper pronounced Clyde Jones Jr. dead at the scene.

Assisting Trooper Reed at the scene was the Clay County Sheriff's Department and, the Manchester Police Department.
