3 Arrested On Drug Charges In Laurel County
Child Placed In Custody Of Social Services After Abandoning It On The Ground While Being Pursued By Kentucky State Police

(LONDON, KY) - On Thursday, March 10, 2005 it was determined by the court in Manchester that the baby of Crystal Henson (who was a passenger with her in a car) on February 24, 2005 be awarded to social services due to her abandoning the baby. Ms. Henson left here baby on the ground in the woods when exiting the vehicle after being pursued by Trooper Nick Metcalf. Crystal Henson age 19 Manchester was charged with fleeing and evading, DUI 2nd, DUI suspended license, endangering the welfare of a minor, criminal mischief and, giving officer false name and information on the night of her arrest.

The case remains open pending further action by the court.
