Two Arrested For Manufacturing Methamphetamine in Laurel County

(London, KY) - On Monday, 02-21-2005 Kentucky State Police Trooper Don Sivils while on routine patrol stopped a vehicle approximately 1 mile north of London on US-25 for registration violations. After a brief roadside investigation the driver of the vehicle John Parker age 33 of Rader Ridge Road in London was arrested and, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine 1st after numerous precursors used to manufacture methamphetamine was located inside the vehicle. John Parker was also charged with numerous traffic violations. A passenger in the vehicle J. G. Hamblin age 22 of Twin Branch Road in London was also arrested and, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine 1st. Both Parker and Hamblin were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
Assisting at the scene was Sgt. Chris Thompson and, Kentucky State Police Special Investigation for the cleanup.
The cases are pending further investigation by Trooper Don Sivils.
