Methamphetamine Lab Located in Clay County, KY

(LONDON, KY) - On Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at approximately 11:00 P.M. Kentucky State Police responded to a complaint of a possible methamphetamine lab located on Sandhill Road, 12 miles south of Manchester in Clay County.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Nick Metcalf arrived at the scene and, after a brief investigation it was confirmed that there was a working methamphetamine lab at the residence. After further investigation Trooper Metcalf was told that the people who had rented the residence had moved. No arrest has been made at this time but the investigation is continuing.

Assisting Trooper Metcalf at the scene was Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Section.
