Stats From Post 11 For January 2005

(LONDON, KY) - For the month of January 2005, post 11 reports the following activity:

• Arrested 94 drunken drivers
• Issued a total of 2,005 citations
• Issued 338 speeding tickets
• Issued 191 seatbelt tickets
• Issued 15 child restraint citations
• Issued 887 courtesy notices
• Investigated 90 crashes
• Inspected 2,110 vehicles
• Assisted 175 stranded motorist
• Answered 1,670 criminal complaints
• Opened 154 criminal cases
• Made 392 criminal arrest

There was (2) fatal crashes reported in the post 11 district in January 2005. Two (2) persons were killed as a result of the crashes. One (1) fatal crash occurred in Laurel County and, one (1) occurred in Rockcastle County.
