Update on Criminal Abuse Charge of Infant

(LONDON, KY) - Kentucky State Police at London has reported updates on the case involving McCreary County Deputy Sheriff Steve Hensley and his wife, Linda Hensley on the criminal abuse charge of their infant child.

Kentucky State Police Detective Billy Correll reports that the couple waived extradition back to Kentucky from Tennessee and, will be picked up Tuesday, February 2nd.

Kentucky State Police are also happy to report that the infant's condition has improved according to the East Tennessee Children's Hospital.

The Hensley's will be formally charged when they arrive back into Kentucky with court dates pending.
