Components of a Methamphetamine Lab Discovered in Vehicle Stop in Laurel County

(LONDON, KY) - Trooper Mark Allen while on routine patrol on Conley Road located in Laurel County stopped a 1988 Mercury Topaz. After a brief roadside investigation a "consent to search" was granted to troopers and, during the search of the vehicles trunk numerous components used to manufacture methamphetamine was discovered.

The operator of the vehicle (Tony R. Bratcher, age 42, Pistol Creek Road, London, KY) was arrested and, charged with numerous traffic violations, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and, attempting to manufacture methamphetamine 1st. Tony Bratcher was lodged in the Laurel county Detention Center.

Assisting Trooper Allen at the scene was Lieutenant Curtis O'Banon, Detectives John Yates and Don Trosper with special investigations east providing the clean up at the scene.
