Possible Scam Alert in Laurel County, KY

(LONDON, KY) - On 01-13-2005 Kentucky State Police answered a complaint from an elderly female about a male subject sealing her driveway. The male subject quoted her a price to do the job and, then changed the price before the job was completed. The male subject left the residence and, then returned a few hours later wanting more money.

Trooper Mark Allen is currently investigating the complaint and, is asking if you feel you have been the victim of a scam or have any information on the above complaint to contact the Kentucky State Police in London at 606-878-6622.
