Update on Trooper Involved Shooting in Garrard County
Date of News Release 12/14/04
(Richmond, KY) - The suspect that was shot and killed by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond, on 12-11-04, has been identified as Carlos Cruz Saturno , age 30, of Chiapas, Mexico. Positive identification was made by a family member at the office of the Garrard County Coroner , Darrell Hodge. This incident remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police. Mr. Saturno was shot once in the chest by Trooper Sonny Dunaway.
