Kentucky State Police Investigate Double Shooting In Campbellsburg, Kentucky

Date of News Release: Monday, 8/2/2004

(CAMPBELLSBURG, KY) - On August 02, 2004 at 6:20 pm the Kentucky State Police 911 Dispatch center received a call advising that there had been a suicide and 9110 Main Street in Campbellsburg, Kentucky. Upon arrival troopers found Margaret E. Shuck, age 79 and Alfred P. Shuck, age 80 both dead of apparent gunshot wounds. According to investigators Margaret Shuck was shot by her husband while asleep in her bed. Alfred Shuck then went to his room and shot himself. Both bodies were removed by the Henry County Coroner Jimmy Pollard and taken to the State Medical Examiners Office in Louisville for an autopsy. This incident is being investigated as a murder/suicide by Kentucky State Police Detective Brady Lineman and he is being assisted by the members of the Kentucky State Police, the Henry County Coroner and Henry County EMS.
