U.S. 31-W Corridor Enforcement Blitz

(BOWLING GREEN, Ky.) --The Kentucky State Police will be conducting a series of Traffic Control Checkpoints, Speed Enforcement Operations, and Sobriety Checkpoints all along U.S. 31-W from the Kentucky-Tennessee line, to the Barren-Hart County line.

The U.S. 31-W Corridor Enforcement Blitz will be conducted from December 13th to December 18th.

Speed checkpoint stations have been deployed all along the U.S. 31-W Corridor, for the drivers' convenience.

The agencies involved in the Blitz Campaign are Simpson, Warren, Barren, and Edmonson County Sheriff's Department, along with Franklin, Bowling Green, Western Kentucky University, Park City, Cave City Police Departments. Also out in force will be the Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement and the Kentucky State Police.

Captain Jeff Mayberry, Post 3 Commander and Blitz coordinator, stated "We are committed to making U.S. 31-W a safer place to travel"
