High Speed Pursuit Leads to Arrest

(Bowling Green, KY) - At 1620 hours KSP was requested to assist Franklin Police Department with a pursuit on Highway 100 eastbound at Massey Road. KSP units were notified and en route. Agency advises the registered owner is wanted for a parole violation.

Vehicle turned northbound onto Highway 622. KSP entered the pursuit on Highway 622 at 1631 hours. The vehicle turned northbound onto US 231 and headed into the limits of Bowling Green. KSP terminated the pursuit due being in a restricted area. At 1640 hours KSP units located the vehicle northbound on I-65 at 33-mile maker. Vehicle continued northbound on interstate 65 with speeds reaching 110 mph. At the 43-mile maker the suspect vehicle crossed the median and started northbound in the southbound lane of travel. The vehicle returned to northbound I-65 and at the 44-mile maker changed direction to travel southbound on I-65. KSP units utilized a pit maneuver to stop the vehicle and the driver was taken into custody without further incident and lodged in the Warren County Jail.

Corina Kitchens, age 27 was arrested and charged with Fleeing & Evading 1 st, Wanton Endangerment 1st, DUI 2nd Aggravated, Speeding 30 MPH over the limit, Reckless Driving, No Seatbelt, Execute Warrant Other Agency, Operating on Suspended Operator's License, Improper Passing. She is Lodged at the Warren County Jail.
