Buglary Investigation in Warren County

Date of News Release: 10/30/2004

(Bowling Green, KY) - At 21:14 hours Kentucky State Police received a call of a possible burglary in progress at the Smiths Grove Pharmacy. The business owner, Carroll Beverly, had been notified of an alarm activation.

Mr. Beverly armed with a shotgun and handgun responded to the business and confronted two suspects outside the business. The suspects overpowered Mr. Beverly, took the shotgun and fled on foot east on College Street.

KSP arrived at 21:19 hours and checked the business and the area. The first suspect is a white male, stocky build with sandy brown hair, approximately 5'10" in height, possibly with acne on the face. He was last seen wearing no shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect is a white male, approximately 5'11" in height with dark hair and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt and light pants.
