Manufacturing Methamphetamine in Logan County, Scott Hines Arrested

(Bowling Green, KY) - On Thursday, August 19, 2004, the Kentucky State Police West Drug Enforcement Branch, troopers from Post 3, Special Response Team, and Special Operations Canine Section executed a search warrant at the residence of Scott R. Hines in Logan County. Items were located which were used in the manufacture of methamphetamine Also located was a small amount methamphetamine and prescription medication not secured in a proper container. Scott Hines was arrested and lodged in the Logan County Jail on the above mentioned charges. Assisting the Kentucky State Police was the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force.
Recovered Property & Value: $2403.00 U.S. Currency, one Phoenix Arms Handgun, Approximately 2 grams of Methamphetamine, small amount of prescription medication, and various items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine including two tanks containing anhydrous ammonia.
