Trafficking in Marijuana / Illegal Poss. Of Alcohol in Dry Territory

(Munfordville, KY) On 07-09-2004 Trooper Jonathan McChesney initiated a traffic stop on Gary Howard of Munfordville, KY. Mr. Howard had been observed driving from side to side of the roadway in Hart County. Trooper McChesney requested and received consent to search Mr. Howard's vehicle. During the search a large amount of Alcoholic Beverages were located. Tpr Mc Chesney then obtained a search warrant for Mr. Howard's residence in Munfordville, and with the assistance of Munfordville City Police, and the Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement, searched Mr. Howard's residence. In addition to the alcohol, officers also seized approximately 9 grams of marijuana. Mr. Howard is lodged in the Hart County Jail.
