Post 2 Under New Command

Madisonville, KY - On September 16, 2004 Captain Leslie Gannon took command at the Kentucky State Police Madisonville Post. Captain Gannon is a fourteen-year veteran of the state police. She has held the rank of captain for over three years.

Captain Gannon began her career as a trooper at the Pikeville Post. She has served as the commander of the Central Lab and most recently was the commander of the Kentucky State Police Training Academy in Frankfort. She is originally from Pikeville, KY. Captain Gannon stated that she is "honored to serve as the post commander of the Madisonville Post and she is looking forward to working with the community and the troops to build partnerships."

The Madisonville Post serves the following counties: Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Hopkins, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Webster.
