Skeletal Remains Discovered in Princeton, KY

Princeton, KY (Caldwell County) - On July 15, 2004 at approximately 1550 hours, the Kentucky State Police responded to a residence located on East Market Street in Princeton reference skeletal remains that had been located. The Madisonville Post had been contacted by officers with the Princeton Police Department who were already on the scene. Upon arriving, units discovered human skeletal remains behind the residence. The property owner had been trimming hedges behind their residence and discovered the remains. The remains were removed and will be sent to Frankfort, KY to be examined by Forensic Anthropologist Dr. Emily Craig. At the present time, the victim's identity, sex, and cause of death are not known. The investigation is continuing. Detective Devin Brewer is the lead investigator. The Princeton Police Department, Princeton Fire Department, and Caldwell County Coroners Office assisted the Kentucky State Police at the scene.
