Marijuana Eradication

(Madisonville, KY) - Units from the Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville eradicated over 1500 marijuana plants this past week. Troopers and Detectives from Post 2 cut marijuana plants in Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, and Hopkins Counties.
Units cut 169 plants in Caldwell County, 75 plants in Christian County, 326 plants in Crittenden County, and 974 plants in Hopkins County for a total of 1544 plants. The marijuana plants were then transported to Post 2 where they were destroyed. At the present time, no arrests have been made.
The Kentucky State Police will continue their marijuana eradication efforts throughout the summer.
