Madisonville Post Welcomes New Troopers

Madisonville, KY - The Kentucky State Police Madisonville Post 2 welcomed Tpr. Douglas J. Dillow and Tpr. Nicholas J. Rice to its ranks on Tuesday, June 29, 2004. Tpr. Dillow and Tpr. Rice are two of fifty-one new state troopers who graduated from the Kentucky State Police Academy on Saturday, June 26, 2004.
Tpr. Dillow is 27 years of age and is originally from Cape Girardeau, MO. He attended Shawnee Community College and Southern Illinois University. He was in the United States Army for four years. He was employed by DANA Corporation in Hopkinsville, KY before joining the ranks of the Kentucky State Police.
Tpr. Rice is 29 years of age and was born in California. He attended California Baptist College and California State University Bakersfield. He was employed by Citibank in Yerington, NV before joining the Kentucky State Police.
Tpr. Dillow and Tpr. Rice will be assigned to Hopkins County. Both troopers will be an asset to the community and to the Kentucky State Police.
With the addition of the new graduates, the agency boosts its strength to a total of 986 sworn officers serving the citizens of the Commonwealth.
