Drug Arrest in Elkton, Kentucky

(Elkton, KY) - In the early morning hours of March 24, 2004, the Kentucky State Police received information about illegal drug activity at a residence located in Elkton, KY. After gathering this information, the Kentucky State Police was able to obtain a search warrant. While conducting a search at the residence, KSP located an active methamphetamine lab, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana. All four subjects listed above were at the residence. All were arrested without incident at approximately 0145 hours on March 24, 2004 and all were lodged in the Christian County Detention Center. Also at the residence was a 14-month-old child. A relative of the child was contacted and took custody of the child. The child was not injured. KSP Drug Control Section I performed the cleanup of the lab. Also assisting the KSP were the Elkton & Guthrie Police Departments and the Todd County Sheriffs Department.
