Stand Off Ends in Lola, KY

(LOLA KY) At the request of the Livingston County Sheriff's Department, Troopers from Kentucky State Police Post 1 Mayfield responded to a residence on Bethel Hill Road, KY 137, in an attempt to execute a civil process.

After the individual failed to comply with the officers' request to come outside he barricaded himself, alone, inside his residence. At the conclusion of a thirty-six (36) hour stand off with the individual the Kentucky State Police Central Unit Special Response Team took the subject into custody.

The individual, 43 year-old male, a resident of the Lola Community, was not injured during the incident.

Assisting the Livingston County Sheriff's Department and the Kentucky State Police was the Livingston County Ambulance Service, Salem Fire Department, Ledbetter Fire Department, and the Livingston County Jailer.
