Death Investigation in Trigg County, KY

(LINTON, KY.) Detectives with the Kentucky State Police Post One, at the request of the Trigg County Sheriff's Department, are conducting a investigation into the death of a male that was found floating in Lake Barkley.

At approximately 1:50 PM on December 9, 2004 a duck hunter found the body floating in the channel of Lake Barkley near the Calhoun Hill Boat Ramp in Southern Trigg County.

Detectives have located identification but will be withheld pending notification of the next of kin.

An autopsy will be conducted in Madisonville on December 10,2004. The investigation is continuing by Detective Michelle Kent.
