Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1 St Degree Meth

(Hickory, KY) -Trooper Williams stopped Timothy Swenny after he crossed the center line on US 60. During the investigation Trooper Williams asked for consent to search the vehicle and consent was denied. However, Mr. Swenny did consent to have his bag searched that was inside the vehicle. During the course of the conversation Mr. Swenny became agitated and was arrested for disorderly conduct. After his arrest, $1,180 and two bags of meth were found on his person. In addition, two sets of digital scales and over 1000 individual bags containing residue of meth and marijuana were found in the vehicle. Mr. Swenny was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st, possession of drug paraphernalia 2nd, and disorderly conduct. He is currently lodged in the Livingston County Jail.
