Motorcycle Chase, Crash & Arrest of Kraig Wilson

(Cadiz, KY) - Trooper Richard Wright Jr. observed Kraig Wilson trying to elude him on a motorcycle in Trigg County on KY 124 (Cerulean Road). When Trooper Wright attempted to stop Mr. Wilson, Mr. Wilson initially yielded but then accelerated in an attempt to flee. While Trooper Wright was following Mr. Wilson, Mr. Wilson lost control of his motorcycle and struck an embankment. When Mr. Wilson attempted to flee on foot, Trooper Wright initiated a foot pursuit that lasted approximately 100 yards. The foot pursuit ended when Mr. Wilson illegally made entry into a trailer at 1562 KY 124. Trooper Wright gained entry into the residence and arrested Mr. Wilson without incident. Mr. Wilson was taken to Trigg County Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the traffic accident; however, he refused treatment. Mr. Wilson was then lodged in the Trigg County jail charged with fleeing and evading 1st, burglary 2nd, resisting arrest, DUI 4th, terroristic threatening 3rd, possession of marijuana, expired Kentucky registration plates, no motorcycle operators license, and no insurance. Trooper Wright was assisted by Trooper Billy Over, Ttrigg County Sheriffs Department, and the Cadiz Police Department.
