Methamphetamine Arrest in Marshall County, Kentucky

(Draffenville, KY) -  While on patrol in the Draffenville community of Marshall County Trooper Trent Weaver U/928 smelled the strong odor of ether coming from the area of TCB Automotive.

After confirming the smell was in fact ether, Trooper Weaver then observed Gene B. Haggard walking away from the area.

Trooper Weaver, along with Marshall County Deputies Jason Ivey and Kevin Mighall then approached Mr. Haggard and a strong scent of ether was also detected on him.

The strong odor of ether was also observed coming from a camper in which Mr.Haggard resides behind TCB Automotive. A search warrant was then obtained for the camper.

After further investigation a working methamphetamine lab was discovered inside the camper along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Gene B Haggard was arrest and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

Trooper Weaver was assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff office and Kentucky State Police West Drug Enforcement.
