Pursuit, 1 Arrested

(Ashland, KY) - Kentucky State Police in Ashland arrested a Garrison man late last night following a vehicle pursuit on Laurel road in rural Greenup County.

Trooper Jamie Stephens attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a maroon van with two male passengers inside of it. The vehicle failed to stop after Trooper Stephens engaged his emergency equipment and attempted to elude Trooper Stephens.

The van traveled a short distance on Laurel road then turned onto Duncan fork where the vehicle came to a stop. Both occupants exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Tpr Stephens was able to apprehend the driver (Danny L. Logan) after a short foot pursuit. The passenger was not located.

Danny L. Logan was transported to the Greenup County Detention Center where he was charged with DUI 4^th, Driving Suspended 3^rd Fleeing or Evading Police 1^st Offense, No Insurance, No Tail Lamps, Failure to Appear (bench warrant from Lewis County).
