Six Arrested on Drug Offenses in Whitley County

(LONDON, KY) - On Tuesday August 17, 2004, The Kentucky State Police in London assisted by the Williamsburg Police Department and the Whitley County Sheriff Department conducted a drug round up in Whitley County. Six subjects were arrested and lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center in Williamsburg.

The arrests were the result of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in Whitley County.

  • Connie Ellison age 25 of Williamsburg charged with 3 counts of Trafficking Controlled Substance 2nd degree.
  • Dennis Hamblin age 48 of Williamsburg charged with Trafficking Marijuana, Cultivating Marijuana, and possession of a defaced firearm.
  • Mark Lawson age 19 of Williamsburg charged with Trafficking Controlled Substance 2nd degree and Cultivating Marijuana.
  • Necia Teague age 43 of Williamsburg charged with 4 counts of Trafficking Controlled Substance 2nd degree.
  • Glennis Lawson age 44 of Williamsburg charged with Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st degree, Trafficking Controlled Substance 2nd degree, and Complicity to Trafficking Controlled Substance 2nd degree.
  • Cora Mullis age 38 of Williamsburg charged with Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st degree and Trafficking Controlled Substance 2nd degree.
