Missing Child in Wayne County

(LONDON, KY) - On Sunday, June 27, 2004 at approximately 9:00 p.m. Kentucky State Police officers responded to a residence approximately 12 miles north of Monticello near the Pulaski County line in Wayne County regarding a 5 year old child missing. Members of various emergency department personnel from Wayne and Pulaski Counties responded to assist in the search.

The utilization of aircraft equipped with flir and ground search teams has been unsuccessful in the search as of daylight. The search is continuing and the child is described as a white male last seen wearing maroon sweatpants, no shirt, no shoes, approximately 3'1" tall and weighing 30 pounds. Currently there is no indication of abduction and no known direction of travel.
