Scam Alert in Pulaski, Wayne, and McCreary Counties

(LONDON, KY) - Through an investigation by the Kentucky State Police in London, Detectives have identified a scam which apparently began in late January when two white males began going door to door posing as representatives of the American Cancer Society soliciting donations for the Relay for Life. The two males are not affiliated with the American Cancer Society.

Detectives Todd Dalton and Billy Correll are currently investigating the report and are asking that if you feel that you may have been a victim of the scam to contact the Kentucky State Police in London at 606-878-6622. Leave your name, phone number and county you live in and either Detective Dalton or Detective Correll will contact you for your information.

The investigation has developed leads, which are currently being investigated. Detective Todd Dalton is conducting the investigations in Pulaski and Wayne Counties. Detective Billy Correll is conducting the investigations in McCreary County
