Over $400,000 in Stolen Property Recovered
(London, KY) - As part of an on going investigation by Kentucky State Police Special Investigations Detective Bill Riley, Indiana State Police and Sheriff Departments from Indiana an estimate of over $400 thousand dollars in property has been recovered in Laurel and Pulaski Counties.
This property such as Four Wheelers, Riding Mowers Flat Bed Trailers, Skid Loaders, Farm Equipment, Chain Saws and numerous other Tools and Equipment.
This property was being sold at the West 80 auction in Laurel County. The property recovered was reported stolen from Indiana and brought to Kentucky for Auction.
The Hamilton County Sheriff Department in Indiana has made one arrest in the case. A native of Laurel County Ralph Johnson age 44 of Indianapolis, Indiana was charged with Theft of Property, Burglary and Vehicle Theft on January 15, 2004 and lodged in the Hamilton County Detention Center in Indianapolis.
