Two Fugitives Arrested within One Week in Laurel County

(London, KY) - On Wednesday, December 24, 2003 Kentucky State Police Sergeants Tony Terry and Jack Riley stopped a vehicle on I-75 in Laurel County driven by Dennis L. Robey age 57 of Brodhead, Kentucky on a traffic offense.

As officers were conducting a license check on Mr. Robey it was discovered that the Hamilton County Sheriff Department in Ohio wanted him on a drug related offense. Dennis L. Robey was arrested and charged with Fugitive from Justice from the State of Ohio and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

On Tuesday, December 30, 2003 Trooper Mark Allen received a report that Kenneth L. Parsons age 27 of Cincinnati, Ohio was being sought by the Clermont County Sheriff Department in Ohio on for Flagrant Non-Support and was living in Laurel County. Trooper Allen arrested Kenneth L. Parsons at his residence lodging him in the Laurel County Detention Center charged with Fugitive from Justice from the State of Ohio.

Both Dennis L. Robey and Kenneth L. Parsons will remain in the Laurel County Detention Center pending extradition back to Ohio. Trooper Mark Allen is conducting the investigations.
