Six (6) Arrested on Drug Related Charges in
McCreary County by Post 11 Troopers

(London, KY) - On Tuesday, May 27, 2003 Officers from the Kentucky State Police and the McCreary County Sheriff's Department arrest six (6) subjects on drug related charges at two separate locations.

At approximately 2:30 p.m. Kentucky State Police Troopers and McCreary County Sheriff's Deputies were attempting to locate a subject wanted on outstanding warrants in McCreary County. Officers arrived at residence on Mudcut Road in Pine Knot and observed two subjects flee the residence on foot.

Further investigation at the residence discovered a small quantity of Marijuana inside the residence along with other drug-related material. At the scene officers located both subjects who fled along with two subjects inside the residence.

Arrested at the scene and charged with Trafficking in Marijuana less than 8 oz., were Donald Bone Jr., age 25 of Pine Knot, Allen Clark age 21, Charles Corder age 23 and Johnny Tucker age 20 all of Stearns, Kentucky.

At approximately 5:00 p.m. Kentucky State Police Troopers and McCreary County Sheriff's Deputies served a search warrant at the residence of Collin Lawson in Pine Knot.

Officers discovered a large quantity of processed Marijuana inside the residence along with material used in drug trafficking and 245 Marijuana Plants growing outside the residence.

Collin Lawson age 35 and his wife Tammy Lawson age 31 were both arrested at the scene. Collin was charged with Cultivating Marijuana over 5 plants, Trafficking in Marijuana 8 oz to 5 lb (firearm enhanced), and Tampering with Evidence. Collin was lodged in the McCreary County Jail. Tammy Lawson was charged with Cultivating Marijuana over 5 plants, and Trafficking in Marijuana 8 oz to 5 lb. Tammy was lodged in the Whitley County Jail in Williamsburg.

Trooper Jason Browning is conducting the investigation. Assisting in the investigation were Kentucky State Police Detective Billy Correll, Trooper Phillip Hayes, Trooper Craig Reed, McCreary County Deputy Sheriff Captain Freddie Clark, Deputy Alan Braden and Deputy Greg Canada. Both investigations are continuing.
