KSP Post 9 Commander

KSP Post 9 Participates in run for Judy's Place

(Pikeville,Ky.) -- On Saturday April 13, 2013 members of Kentucky State Police Post 9 Pikeville and their families participated in the 5K run sponsored by Judy's Place. Post 9 Captain Curtis O'Bannon said, "This is a great opportunity for Post 9 to show our support for Judy's Place." Judy's Place is an asset to Pike County and the communities it serves. It has been and continues to be a great asset to the Kentucky State Police and shares in our mission to safeguard the children of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.


KSP Trooper Island Raffle Car Combines Unbridled Power With Highest Govt. Safety Rating

2013 Chevy Camaro

(Frankfort, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police are raffling off a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 1SS Coupe to help support their annual summer camp for underprivileged youth. Sporting a Crystal Red Metallic exterior and black interior, the vehicle features a 6.2 liter V8 dual overhead cam engine with 400 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission that incorporates Active Fuel Management™ for a 24-miles-per-gallon highway rating. In government crash testing, it earned a superlative five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
